Re: Maxi with Best storage
I've haven't seen the 400 Burger's underseat compartment, but the 650s (pre 2013) was huge....put one helmet in there, shove it forward and it disappeared out of sight! I also had a two helmet topbox as well....and I still completely filled all the space on a shopping expedition!!!!

Re: Maxi with Best storage
I'd swap some of that for more fuel capacity any day.

Re: Maxi with Best storage
The X9 does a good 200-230 miles to a tank. That's miles enough!

My commute is 27 miles one way.
It would be nice to have enough tank range for a whole week.
The PCX needs a refill every other day which is a p.i.t.a.

I do nearer 300 miles a week, I don't think there's a scooter on the market with a 300 mile range?

Re: Maxi with Best storage
My commute is only 5 miles each way, so with the baby Burger's 11ltr tank and 70+mpg I only need to fill that up every fortnight!!!gn2 wrote:My commute is 27 miles one way.

Re: Maxi with Best storage
My SYM GTS can take my full face, gloves and trousers. It also has a small pocket (i have bungee cords in it) and
the glove box can fit a few small items - Batteries in there on one side.
It's 12L tank gives it a range of 210-230miles.
If I did get a bigger cc scooter I want one with more storage, for I frequently shop with mine and go out to places
like zoo's. I don't just ride around for a few hours with the odd pit stop. I'd much rather leave all my gear in the bike during the day. A Top box could solve my problem but I'm really thinking of getting a Burgman 400 or SIlverwing for non commuting/shopping trips.
