Wuffstuff, I'm sure you will enjoy your Trophy, and your reviews are brilliant and not at all useless. That's the sort of stuff loads of people on the net look for. it can be more helpful to hear from someone like yourself than reading a professional MCN comic review. And of course, anyone searching for a review of the Trophy will see yours as google will find it, even on this site. So, very good and we all look forward to hearing what you think of it. Unfortunate you don't think your Burgman is a good big distance bike. Maybe yours is just a wobbly one. I know many folk who do big mileages each year on the 400 and 650 including my ex-Suzuki tech colleague, without any problems or the feeling of it being a flimsy bike. My next door but one neighbour does 14k per year on his 2011 400 Burgman. It currently has almost 30k on the clock and rides like new, looks new too. I would imagine the 650 to be the same but I don't own that model so cannot comment definitively. Anyway, good luck and keep posting.

Suzuki to Triumph, both made in the far east so you should still enjoy the ride but quicker on the triumph eh, have fun and don't bend it

The Trophy is actually made in the Far East of Hinkley in Leicestershire. The parts come from all over the place but it is definitely made in England.
Having had a couple of days with it now it is absolutely superb and has a real solid feel. It is also wickedly fast; the acceleration is well rapid after the sluggish Burgman.
It is however, very big and very heavy at standstill. But it is easier to move around by hand than the Burgman was as it is not in gear all the time. The weather yesterday was disgusting for 320 miles as I rode to Fareham and back. Very cold, wet and extremely windy. The Trophy handled it with ease - the Burgman would have as well though.

Hello wuffstuff,
Just update your current ride in your profile and stick around, I did.

Yes ditto everyone's comments. All the best with your new bike and don't forget to pop in now and again.

At least you're replacing the Burger with a bike, not with one of those nasty four-wheeled things. Aaagh!

I've had the trophy for a year now and I think I preferred the burg. I'm coming back.
