Thats a very nice X10, shame it's so far away from me, and I'm still liking my 2012 S-Wing 125, same colour as your scoot.

i have had loads of bikes over the years from a honda h100 to a bmw r1150gs but have never had ago on a scooter. i had to sell the bmw 6 years ago and have not had a bike since but now as my xc70 is only doin 26mpg i'm thinking another bike is a good idea and think a scooter will be a little cheaper to run than the car :D
i'll have a max of £1100 to spend on a bike but the insurance has got to be cheap as in a few months i will be buying my first house so money will be tight, i have had a quote for £130 fully comp on a 400 burger which for an address in liverpool was amazing  . but my main worry is can the bike handle my 25st bulk :) will i be able to cruise at about 70? what will happen on hills ? will i have to get off and push lol.

frankiej1949 thanks for the offer but that way out out of my price range icon_crying.gif

Im a fat bastard just brought a 1999 400 burger from up your way off the Wirral youll be fine on it try and get one with replacement shocker as Hagon one £300 suzuki one mega bucks one reason I brought mine. Also off the line the very old ones are a bit vibey but ok once get going way around this is change 21 grm rolllers for 18 grm gives it more revs up to 40 ish then it evens out .A lot used to put mallosi variator on old 400's respond well to this .Oh I paid £790 for mine just needs a bit of work on brakes which Im sorting but ok apart from that .Things to look for are play in rear wheel splines common fault unless greased every tyre change if you run 70 plus for a long time check oil as they spit it into airbox which again is well documented running around normal speeds theres no problems .Mine had done 33K put another 1K on last week on a tour
