Re: N. Wales Scenic Feb/March TBA
I'm really keen to see Snowdonia and also have the first rideout on the burgman since i bought it. I noticed that travelodge is right next to little chef and their prices are not too bad. If this doesn't turn out to be another typical maxi-muppet rideout (cancelled) i might come and stay at travelodge on saturday and start off fresh sunday morning. That way i'd only endure the long ride back home after the rideout and not before.
I won't book anything yet though as these rides are heavily based on that week's weather forecast so put me down on the list as tentative. If the rideout happens and i'm not ill or some other problem, i'll join in.

Re: N. Wales Scenic Feb/March TBA
Bloody 'ell, I never expected anybody to come that far. Nice one Halfabusa
I'm going to go over the finer points of the route with Horobags this weekend
As far as weather/cancelation goes I can only repeat what I said at the beginning. I'm going to try to plan according to the long range weather forecast. They are pretty good these days, by the Friday we should have an idea what is expected on the Sunday.
If the weather is in any way dangerous or if its heavy rain all day I won't be going. It's not fun and it's too much responsibility.
Anybody/everybody else can still go if they want to, I'll catch the next one.
A bit cold and a few showers is to be expected - not a problem, I'll be there.

Re: N. Wales Scenic Feb/March TBA
I'm desperate after a few attempts for cancelled rideouts, and what's more the fact is that around London area, there's not much scenic routes to my liking. I want mountains, i want altitude. I don't mind travelling distance for it if it's going to be worthwhile. Let's hope the weather doesn't play up and i'll hopefully be there. Adding the ride back home, that day will be 400+ miles for me. Going to work with a sore bum on monday will raise a lot of suspicions!!!
It would also be a bonding session for me with the burgman. I've not been anywhere but work since i bought it and i'd like to have a feel of it on a long ride.

I'm in as long as the Ponderosa at 10.30 is one of the meets. Plus of course taking account of the weather. If it's p...ing down it won't be worth it. If not I'll have breakfast at the Ponderosa and see you there.

I'm up for this weather and funds permitting, Horobags you fancy meeting at Lymm truckstop? It'll be good to catch up with you all again.
