That's very good of them to offer as much as £7500 for your Burger.

Whose the dealer? If it were me I would be tempted as I have a 2010 Burgman and I might to able to squeeze a bit more than £7.5K part-ex :-)
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift!

Surely you mean... 7.5k plus your 400 Burger to get the gt?

Doesn't sound half as good that way!!!! £7.5K plus a 3 year old Burger sounds a lot of money... There again, I guess my 2008 TMax is only going to be worth something like £2k in a trade in.

I'm not knocking the C600, as I said it's a very good bike. The steering lock fault was pointed out by the salesman! The cost of the basic C600 is about £9500 but the demo bike I tried had extras like the heated grips and seat - this demo bike would cost £9400 in December when it becomes available. The BMW dealer wouldn't move on price and offered me book for my TMAX (£5000) which would have meant a meaty £4500 to change + extras!. Now Woodford Yamaha have done me a very nice deal on a new Tmax 530 which I pick up on Thursday, the C600 may be better in some areas but not £1000+ in my opinion.

I will give you a virtual go by objectively reporting back my observations - or bore everyone to death by wittering on endlessly about how good it is.
