I think it was bikerdezzie, though I thought his was blue... maybe before the accident... I know he had crap loads of addons on his and I really had a hankering for it but the wife was less willing for me to get a TMax back then.

I put a sports can on mine, somehow two cylinders into one exhaust just does not have the same sound as four, not even close. Plus it don’t rev high enough to get the rasp, nor the popping on over run. It was loud and embarrassing, people look and you can read their faces – what a twat - comes across!
I tried db killers, didn’t seem to change the sound much so the whole thing was off again in a week.
However I still wanted something more free flowing, back to ebay.
I found an as new kwak Z750 silencer with link pipe all in stainless steel, won that inc P&P for £20
Fitted that to the scoot with a little help from a saw and a mig
It is a little louder than stock but does not attract attention, fits like it should, it hangs at the right angle with the original bracket, job done.
Top speed is little different but 20mph to 60mph is well improved, which let’s face it – that is where the fun is.

My Mk 3 had a full AKRO system , loved it ( Just sold the bike) It was loads lighter sounded fantastic and being stainless and Titanium did not corode in the winter . Took it off before I sold the bike . Thinking of getting another Mk 3 as the system wont fit the Mk 4 . I'd recommend it . Only sold the T Max as I got a Fab Price !!

I had a LeoVince on my Runner VX a long time ago.

It sounded nice without the silencer in the begining but I grew tired of the sound quite fast and put the silencer back on.

I'd go down this route, I had a MIVV and a Blueflame on my Nexus, all I did was buy the end cans and get a link pipe made. Worked out a hell of a lot cheaper.

I can't see what difference it make what the pipe is made for, my Blueflame came off a GSXR 1100 and worked well on my Nexus300 and my Mivv came off my Runner 125 and worked well on my Nexus aswell.

nope mine had an sc-project full system!

I have had no problems at all with it, I think cause it was made for a higher reving larger cc engine it makes it a less rstrictive pipe for the T-Max. I did open the jet screw 3/4 of a turn on each,[ the ones on top of the carb accessed via the top panel - not sure if these are air screws or mixture screws ] Power went up and fuel consumption went down, so win win really
