How old are you Andy?
Just coming upto a half century in a few weeks time

You might be right about a mid life crisis.......
Still want one though!
I have owned a lot of new bikes but have got a little bit bored and want something a bit different

Update
Went to the classic Bike dealer on Saturday and he gave me a price for my 2008 BMW R1200RT.
He offered me £6000 against a part exchange for a Laverda which is about what I expected.
In the meantime I joined the Laverda Forum and a guy got in touch who has a mint Laverda 750 for sale.
He has imported it in from Germany and it only has 18000 km on the clock

He 'only' wants £5250 which is £750 cheaper than the dealer and the bike is so much better.
The bike looks in fantastic condition and in the words of the guy who is a bit of a Laverda Guru ' is possibly the best 750 in Europe '
Will try to upload a photo later on my desktop PC, the iPad does not want to play ball.......
Going to view it on Saturday so I need to put the Beemer up for sale, anyone want to buy a Beemer?

Here are some pictures of the beast

Not sure about the orange swinging arm and Top Yoke.....
The faded clocks can be updated with new Tacho and Speedo faces and they can also be made to show MPH
Not sure about the German Indicators on the end of the handlebars, they can be changed for normal indicators

Nice - that engine looks really clean.
anyone want to buy a Beemer?
Yes - but only after I sell my GP800 (anyway I'm looking for a R1100RT or a K1200RS)

I went to see the Laverda SF3 today and it is a cracker!

The guy selling the Laverda is a bit of a Guru on the marque.
In the seventies he owned a dealership selling Laverdas.
He also tuned and raced Laverdas and has even wrote a workshop manual, so he knows a thing or two about Laverdas!

The bike fired straight up from cold and sounded awesome!
So I am definitely going to have it if I can sell my BMW R1200RT
Watch this space..........

Well done Andy... What a machine. I'm sure your dealership shouldn't fob you off. What sort of mileage is on the BM?
I've taken my Harley in for a service and warranty work today... Too many vibes all of a sudden..
