Data, I didn't think you were.
Sadly, though, it's all too easy to write off something with which one doesn't agree.
I endeavour not to do so even though I regularly disagree with what others hold good; my days of being confrontational are long gone.
I cope with COPD as others cope with long-term conditions, or even short-term ones and count my blessings that I am as healthy as I am.

As for being hacked on Facebook: I have been once and that quite recently. It's a nuisance but easy to cope with and friends now know the symptoms so don't open suspicious approaches. As far as I'm concerned, it's not a 'bloody thing'. ;)

I can not withdraw from any of these social media platforms such as FB or Insta, Twitter etc.

Because I have not joined. icon_no-way.gif

I couldn’t withdraw from social media as I’m a fount of all knowledge and everyone in the world would be affected my silence. I am really brilliant at everything I write and I know I’m important in others lives. If it wasn’t for me nobody would be any wiser about anything. Someone once said on Twitter I was an arsehole but what do they know eh?

I never really understood much about FB and have taken great delight in permanently deleting my FB "account" feels great to be rid of the bloody thing!
This seems to be a big problem. Nearly all my friends have had their accounts with FB hacked. Mine as yet hasn't been. There are lots of ways a hack can happen. FB is another place I'm closing down. I barely use it so it won't be any loss to me. I use WhatsApp for various groups & individual contact. I find that much better. But it's horses for courses.

I've just Googled 'can whatsapp be hacked on iphone'; very interesting.

The only thing I have any concerns about regarding hacking is my Bank Account. ;)

Bank accounts are very secure. No one will get in unless you give them your password, debit card, and phone. In my case they would also need my random access code generating machine.

Nearly all bank account fraud happens because the victim gives away their details to fraudsters & cooperates with the fraudsters to give them direct access to their account or indeed their money. They do this often in the belief they are protecting their money.

So your bank account is very safe as long as you don't do the above. Just have a personal rule never to chat to anyone except your bank about your account.

I know just where you are at. I ran a couple of forums for the kit cars I have and finally after 15 years gave in over to another member, I still log in but can relax a bit. Social media is a curse. should never have not been invented.

I retired 11 years ago but still tinker and (once the carb is fixed) ride my '99 AN400, I don't know how I ever found the time to work before retiring. So much to do.
Plastic scooters are rubbish, including mine. Lambretta SX200 was the ultimate. never bettered.

Yes Old scooterist, exactly. That was becoming my problem too. I suddenly thought "what am I doing spending so much time staring at a screen"? It had also become a bit less fun on some sights, especially the ones I modded on. Anyhoo...keep the wheels rolling!
