X-Max 300 'boot' is slighter larger and more useable than the Forza 350's, IMHO

I've owned both and from memory can't see much difference between the two. What is sure, both have more space than the new generation big scooters.

There's not much in it - but my helmet was happier in the rear portion of the Yam space, and the Honda has that annoying 'document holder' arrangement - which may be removed when I get a round tuit!

I'm pretty sure my 2012 Burger 400 has a bigger underseat space than the later ones.(2016 on) but I could be wrong. There are also a couple of what look like helmet hooks under the front of the seat? If they're not helmet hooks then I'm not sure what they are! :?

You are quite right 2wheelover. The Burger 400 had 52 litres under the seat. I owned one and have not seen any larger underseat storage since. The latest Burger 400 has a much smaller and awkwardly shaped 'boot'. The old Honda Swing 125 had a huge 'boot' too.
