We were there only a few weeks ago on a cruise that wasn’t supposed to be there. We were going to Malaga but the Spanish closed all the ports as we were just a stone’s throw from docking there, a few circles in the med for a couple of hours until they managed to get us into Gibraltar. The last ship apparently just before they shut shop too.
Walked to Morrison’s and it feels very odd. As English as English can be with most of the workers having strong regional accents but surrounded by mainly people of Hispanic ethnicity, oh and lots of lovely sunshine too!!
Noticed the scooter seemed to be the vehicle of choice too, I even looked to see if I could hire one whilst there but unfortunately no luck.

I love Gib spent quite a bit of time in Sheppard's marina messing around in yachts, the history of the place is fantastic and before visiting a good book on the place is a must. I think in peoples minds it's a lot like Malta, love 'em or hate 'em. Personly i love 'em

I have fond memeories of my time in Gib 79-81 where I had a Honda 500/4. I really enjoyed my time there, though in those days the border between Gib and Spain was closed which was a shame as I would have loved to travel into Spain and Portugal when I had my annual hols.
