Hi does anyone know about putting my bikes on sorn,I declared my bike sorn last month and upon hearing nothing about my rebate I checked the GOV.UK site and it said my bike was still taxed.I followed the site to the letter and put the number required from the V5 and it said completed,but I found that it is still taxed untill 08/19.Any thoughts.

I sorned my sym and my van when brought burger 400 had cheques for refund within a few weeks

Simplest thing is to try again and see if it works this time.

never had an issue (Are you sure you used the gov.website and not a monkey paid for top of the search list).
Just resubmit it in case it's timed out or back paged? You normally get a confirmation email as well I recall

Yep, always use the government site for taxing and sorn.

I think you have to put your e-mail address in a box to get a conformation, I did this a few months back got the confirmation and still had
threatening letters so it can take them a wile to catch up.

Also take a pdf or screenshot of the confirmation as proof

Done it again today and it all seemed to work as it should,but I followed the same process as before and this time it gave me reference numbers so I now have confirmation.Thank you all,Maxi Muppets to my rescue once again.
