Hi all,
I have a new TMAX DX and love it to bits, especially all the tech (keyless ignition, telemetry, app, cruise control etc.) However there is one annoyance:
We all know the TMAX cuts off the ignition when the sidestand is down. I’m OK with that. What I don’t like is: if you have the ignition on (engine off) and put the sidestand down there’s this high-pitched beepbeepbeepbeep that goes on for about five seconds. I don’t see the point of this warning. After all the ignition is cut out anyway so why beep to warn you the stand is down?
Anyone know if the beeping can be disabled?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Annoying TMAX beep!
....as far as i know, that is something to do with turning the scooter off,one bleep means the mangement system has turned the ignition off ok,the series of bleeps is warning you to push the button again as the ignition is still on,it’ll do the same if you fail to lock the steering properly as well.....may of not explained it in the best of terms, but i guess you get my drift, its a safety warning feature,so i guess it cant be disabled...

Sorry, I've no idea how to stop it, but yes, it is annoying and pointless!! I now leap for the off button before I put it the sidestand down!
