Probably not the right sort of venture for me then!!! I guess doing big tours on little bikes is more a state of mind than anything - but I'd have thought that having something a bit faster is always going to be useful to bypass the boring & ugly bitsSymcity wrote: Thu Aug 23, 2018 11:37 am I undertook a trip from Loch Lomond to Shetland on a Yamaha YBR125 a few years ago - patience is key when undertaking such a journey

Again if you are touring as a group on small cc bikes there is no going a bit faster. That was the beauty of the RV125 Van Van we were all on the same bike so the only top speed was who could lay flatest on the tank and hadn't eaten all the pies.
Fat f***ers never won it but I sure as hell tried

free image hostHere is my 1959 Lambretta LI150 and a mates 1960 TV175 en route to Spain this year. Over the last few years they've been to Italy (Venice, or as close as you can get), Avignon, Switzerland (long way round visit Fluela pass) and a short trip to Belgium.

Total respect any pictures? (sure it can be squeezed into chit chat)
There's a guy from Korea travelled over 37 countries only to have his scooter nicked while in Manchester.
Can't see it to clearly on the picture I've been sent but looks like a PCX,certainly no bigger than 125

An Irish guy went down to Gibraltar on an SH300. OK, it's bigger than 200cc but the youtube video is great. Shame he never finished it.

Yes watched that ages ago he even rode to top of the Rock . Just planing stops for Portugal trip bit of a rush getting back to Santander at moment. The 300 gives best power to weight of scoot .My Sym lighter but at least 10bhp less I'm sure be okay but never just held full throttle for long period to see what it will do .
