Maxi-scooter rider from South Africa

Post by scootinon »

Hi all.

I have been lurking for a few years now, courtesy of Tapatalk... :D

I have a Kymco xciting 500 ri 2010 which has 48600km on it now.
I have owned this scoot since late 2013 when it had 14000+-km.
I traded in a Kymco grand dink 250 for it.

When it is not raining, or I am not sleeping, I am on it, as riding it is so much good fun with clothes on.[OK HAND SIGN]

I cant seem to create a topic anywhere else.
TITLE=SECURITY MY EXPERIENCE
I recently got an Oxford Titan OF51 disc lock which turns out to be disappointing due to the tumblers moving around making the inserting of the key problematic.
Some silicone spray has helped some, but this item being brand new with such issues is not good.
Online guys have mentioned the disc lock getting stuck on the disc, requiring expensive removal. I thought they were referring to a pervious version.
Anyways, I will sell this one, and I have ordered this monster instead off eBay.
Hardened stainless steel and I wont even mention the dual key!
