Can't the problem be engineered out Lyn? How about a new mount bolted to the casing ? seems a shame to scrap a bike

i can't TIG weld Julian i can weld shit to a blanket with gas but TIG i have never done...may buy a TIG set and learn before i croak.
so the short answer Julian is YES it could be welded but the whole side of the tranny needs to come off.

Its 5.30 and raining here . I will be setting off a doubt 8 ish , i will turn up but if its still raining after a cupa at Morrisons its straight back home for me ,
