squeek from front forks maybe

Post by who-me »

I have a squeek from the front of my L1 400 8000 miles I think it must be one of the forks but not sure , I have removed mud guard bakes etc so not them , it gets better after a few miles . Any ideas any one ?

PS I have put the brakes and mud guard back on

Splash of silly-cone :D spray on the fork seals may do it if they have dried out..
\\\the wheel bearing seals did the same on the Majesty i had, qwik spray and all good.

Thanks but I have done that , it dose it most when hold front brake on and push handle bars thus compressing front forks but very hard to pin point

Mine does that when I'm backing into my garage, checked the brakes and all good. I just put it down to too much force on the brakes because it's on a steep hill.
