OK, no source available.
Independent testing of the competition shows top speeds of around 73mph.
You're seriously expecting us to swallow a 10% increase in top speed from a 0% increase on peak power and torque?
All those angles on the bodywork and the faired in handlebars must be doing some job of cleaning up the aerodynamics.
Maybe the short front mudguard is the key

Whatever
Edit: here you go. Weirdly, Iggy from Twist and Go had a go and found/dreamt the same thing.

Re: Forza 125 UK Announcement
Here's another from Michael Mann : Mannonabike - or in this case Mannon des source?
(joke for film buffs)
Not as explicit as Iggy "...the Forza will max out at a little over 80 mph"
Article http://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/re ... R5mDTK9LTo
A lot of work went into the airflow on the inside of the bike, not just the outside.
But that isn't the whole story
I can't quote a google source on that so obviously this can't be true either

Not as far off as you think.gn2 wrote:You're seriously expecting us to swallow ...

Once the Frenchies at Scooter Station get one to thrash, we'll have a better idea of the real top speed.
If it can pass lorries uphill into a wind with me sitting on it I just might buy one.

Yes, it's a mandatory bike for every dealer to have as a demonstrator. Not sure what 2x colours to get yet but I think the white/blue and black/brown.

Re: Forza 125 UK Announcement
Service Interval is 4000 mile with a valve clearance inspection or yearly check for low mileage users. No valve check at 600 mile service. Spark plug replace every 32000 mile. Air cleaner every 12000 mile. Uses a new plastic radiator cap aimed to improve performance and reduce weight. Drive belt at 16000.. Final drive oil change every 2 years. Radiator coolant change every 3 years. Brake fluid chanhe every 2 years. According to the schedule the 600 mile is simply an oil change.

Re: Forza 125 UK Announcement
My local dealer doesn't usually do 125 demonstrators because their insurance requires a full licence.
Will be interesting to see if they get a demo in.
