I had the same problem with the pinlock insert on one of my helmets - it kept misting up in between the visors due to the poor fit. I phoned up the manufacturer to complain and they told me that the pinlocks were concentric and adjustable. Half a turn on each of them with a small screwdriver tightened the insert and cured the problem. I never knew that! Yours isn't the same by any chance, is it?MrGrumpy wrote:Yeah, same on my Lazer helmet. Very annoying - it shouldn't be that hard! This is obviously the real reason my Arais cost a fortune - they design the visor so the Pinlock fits perfectly!furstyferret81 wrote: The pinlock has never fit properly which is a pain in the ass!

Re: Flip up Helmet
Thats the system on the new Max Vison inserts, but the old ones had pins in, which weren't so easy to adjust - but the pins did hold the insert in under tension, which normally holds the insert correctly. But when I say the pinlock on the Lazer didn't fit, I'm talking about a huge gap of several mm at the bottom! I eventually put some masking tape on to seal it.Steve_D wrote:I had the same problem with the pinlock insert on one of my helmets - it kept misting up in between the visors due to the poor fit. Re: Flip up Helmet
Should not have a gap that big....you did have it the right way up
I ask because on my shoei it always looked odd because it looked right the other way up.
