Interesting. Looks like its been loved, in some ways at least. Note that someone's put a non-standard front disk on, and the mudguard looks non-standard as well. Either it was a slight style upgrade, or maybe they broke the first one. Topbox, but it looks like the original screen (ie rubbish), although I thought the early ones had beading round the edge, but that one doesn't.

Obviously its a Mk1, which is in most people's eyes less desirable than the mk2 (less grunt, only single front disk, slightly bouncy forks), and you can see that its done a big mileage - but as I said, it superficially at least looks cared for. So....in some ways it probably is worth £1250 - with Full Service history anyway. However, if you walked into a dealer with it as a Part Exchange, he'd make a massively pained face about the 'inter-galactic' mileage and make a show of offering you £250 for it as a token gesture.

I was toying with the idea of a cheeky part ex with my burgman. Thing being I actually rate mine at the same price or more. But have always wanted a TMax. Higher mileage I'm guessing would be potentially lower wear on the engine considering its two cylinder. I expect I'll get the same Pained face on mine.. Ooooo 2004 model. 16k miles oooo bit high for that model lol.

Tread carefully is al I will say. Make sure you check the bike's history thoroughly.

P&P aren't crooks by any stretch of the imagination. Neither are they known for being generous.

They don't give out a lot of information unless you ask, and in some cases unless you hassle them for it.

The bodywork is non-standard, and is a full replacement kit. I had the red version on mine, but I replaced the gash front mudguard with a carbon fibre jobbie.

I thought there was something a bit odd with it, but couldn't put my finger on it!
