The Burgman came fitted with Bridgestone Battleaxe tyre's and I have been very impressed with all aspects of their performance in both dry and wet conditions. This afternoon however they performed in a way which totally exceeded my expectations. I rode dowm the A1 today in appalling conditions. Torrential rain, standing water, the full works. The feedback and subsequently the confidence that the Burgman/tyre combination gave was amazing in fact the only limiting factor to my rate of progress was my vision or more to the point, lack of it. Very, very impressed.

Re: Bridgestone Battleaxe.
I presume we're talking about the TH01s which were OE on the Burgman? I liked them as well on the TMax mk2 and on Burgman - they seemed to work very well on the Burger. On the other hand, whilst they were great in wet and dry, I found them lacking a bit of feel in the merely damp - the new Battlax SCs seem to have fixed that problem on the mk4 Tmax.macamxthe1st wrote:The Burgman came fitted with Bridgestone Battleaxe tyre's and I have been very impressed with all aspects of their performance in both dry and wet conditions.
