Re: Garage floor advice
I have been pondering on what to do with the floor of the garage I use.
We rent from the council and when we 1st got it we were annoyed at the puddles of water on the garage floor after it rains (there is no proper drain away)
We complained to the council and they ripped off the old roof and put a new one on
We still get puddles of water on the floor!
The water seems to seep in from the gardens at the rear of the garage and the run and form puddles.
Its a council garage so I don't want to spend load of money but I'm fed up with wet feet after the rain has stopped.
What can I use to seal the join between the wall and floor.

Re: Garage floor advice
Small cracks - mastic / silicon sealer - larger cracks or gaps try the weatherproof expanding foam stuff...
Temporary face off the front and back of the gaps if you can to save waste...

On the old floors with no damp coarse we used to bitchuman them and then chuck some self levelling grey latex down over the top worked for us .

Re: Garage floor advice
I was thinking of getting someone who does flat roofs to run some of their stuff round the edges. The awkward thing is its all permit parking so we can only be out of the garage for 4 hours on a visitor permitFerret wrote:On the old floors with no damp coarse we used to bitchuman them and then chuck some self levelling grey latex down over the top worked for us .
