My Forza has 6600 miles on and will probably have its 8000 mile service done towards the end of May at which time it will be eight months old.
6600 miles....... J300........... three services.......?
Hmm gn2. As my first brand new Ikasawak I'm a bit peeved at that. I usually do my own servicing and repairs. They give a two year warranty (extendable to four) but they do like to maintain a relationship that has us visiting them more often than some family members. Alas, I'll have to keep paying to keep the warranty valid...
On that note, I've booked mine in for it's first service - £99 and two hours. Involves an oil and filter change and certain "checks and adjustments" I wonder what they'll be doing for the other hour??
Previous bikes, many and varied. Last: KAWASAKI J300 SE

make sure they do the gear oil change as well :D servicing 3000 miles or 12 mths so mine will get the dealer 600 mile service they the first year service then if i still got it for the end of the second year i will do it myself as the warranty expires. as this one is an expensive one, you can check the service costs for the j300 on the kawasaki website in the garage :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Mileage-wise, I'm about thew same - good advice thanks. Also - the gear oil, should it be done at the first service with the engine oil Michael?

Yes if you look inside your owners manual it states R for replace for the engine oil and filter and the gearbox oil also the crankcase breather is a C for clean you need to hand in your service manual for them to stamp it, have you ordered the service in time for them to get the oil filter in stock :?: also did you peel on your warranty sticker that was sent to you to stick in the service book inner front page so the 24 mths is in the book as well.
if you go to this link http://www.bowenmoto.co.uk/kawasaki/kaw ... icing.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and you will find the costs for the servicing :D
