I've a query - at 34seconds into that video, they should the right hand foot rest, but ahead of the foot rest is a lever, which looks very much like a gear lever, but presumably its a rear brake lever?wozza wrote: Well here's the next best thing at the moment Mr Hororbags - an actually machine in the flesh.

On the concept there was no lever on the left side of the bars so you are probably right.
Is that a production version in the vid?

Yes I presume it must be a brake lever. The bike looks like DCT only just like an Integra. I think you've got to be fairly brave, or just attracted to the unusual to buy one ( no offence intended Mr Horobags). I can see it being quite sort after in time if it proves to only have a limited run like the DN-01.

The braking system is AKA dn01 then, very useable, I dont mind a foot brake.

Very detailed summary of the Vultus that includes some stuff we've seen before on DCT and the DN-01 - Gizmag article

One of their better articles, though 'the future of motorcycling' might turn out to be an overstatement!poldark wrote:Very detailed summary of the Vultus that includes some stuff we've seen before on DCT and the DN-01 - Gizmag article
Also noticed the photos of the Griffon and E4-01 concepts....Please, Mr Honda, why do you produce these fabulous concepts that I'd love to buy, then only put some weird stuff that's not half as good into production????

Told you where the intended markets are. A well-written and considered article, with all the correct historical cues, understanding of the conscious design decisions and, fuck me, understanding of the limitations of current ergonomics!MrGrumpy wrote:One of their better articles, though 'the future of motorcycling' might turn out to be an overstatement!poldark wrote:Very detailed summary of the Vultus that includes some stuff we've seen before on DCT and the DN-01 - Gizmag article

Interestingly, this could almost be a summary of all the points we've discussed... So we Muppets are forward-thinkers and progenitors, not dinosaurs and feeble old ex-bikers who can't get a leg over anymore...

Well, I'd like to think so, but if it means that I like the Vultus....well, I'm not that forward thinking!irev wrote:So we Muppets are forward-thinkers and progenitors, not dinosaurs and feeble old ex-bikers who can't get a leg over anymore...
