Its kind of like a Purple Helmets display really!
Seems pretty well mannered actually, if slightly more anarchic than we're used to....

I ride in Cambodia every year and that looks pretty organised !! The trick is only look at what's in front no life savers needed , you get used to it . We use Honda XR's though and head to the remote areas/jungle . Simple way of life and Great riding

Its a region where manners are still important. You are seen as embarrassing yourself if you lose your rag like drivers do here.

Never ridden/driven there but Thailand had a similar feel.
When it is busy in Bangkok the police will direct you down the wrong side of the road, even big six lane highways.
Being British I asked if there were rules about when this was allowed, I was told "nobody would get anywhere if we followed the rules".
Even in the capital there are elephants mixed in with the traffic.

"Every man and elephant for himself" was fine out in the sticks and I really enjoyed it - but I gave up in Bangkok and relied on the water taxis and tuc-Tucson (or even better, accept the air-conditioned car that is being laid on, but I like to see places if I can)

It made Paris or New York feel like a pootle in the countryside.
WE ARE THE BURG resistance is futile
