Russians know how to make a light scooter...

Post by irev »

If this was a couple of days later, and the Russians had a sense of humour, I might think this an April Fool... but as it is, just watch the video, and be ready for the shock ending.

Now, whats Kawakymhomsukiya's excuse for 200+ kilos..?

Last I heard they were still prototype and they intended selling them as self assembly kits. Unless Irev has heard different?

The "m" version has balloon tyres with chocolate block tread so it could be on/off road, can't remember the weight but you wouldn't be picking it up one handed. They have a 2x2 drive system (toothed belt front and back) and the brakes work on the drive not at the wheel.
It would be tricky getting approval for it with the exposed front drive etc. but if its off road that isn't going to matter.

Maybe we should order a container full and have a build party at somebodies workshop :)
