Yamaha are bringing out another scooter in India , I think that makes 3 Yam scoots over there
Yamaha Alpha 113cc http://www.bikewale.com/yamaha-bikes/cygnus-alpha/
Looks to be domestic market only but so were THM until the PCX/Forza got adopted by the parent company

Re: Another Yamaha scooter
That Alpha seems very similar to the Delight which is already on sale here.

Re: Another Yamaha scooter
I think you're right about the looks GN2, I hadn't noticed that
but isn't the delight injected? The other oily bits don't look to be the same either.
The same up to a point but I don't know where that point is

Re: Another Yamaha scooter
Given that the Alpha has pressed steel wheels and drum brakes I doubt it will have fuel injection.
Seems fairly basic compared to what we expect to get here although it does have roller rockers...woohoo!!!
Maybe Yamaha are doing the shared platform thing, same core bits with different bolt-ons?

Re: Another Yamaha scooter
Unless I am very much mistaken (quite possibly) I can't find any mention of another new Yamaha scooter which is about to come to market - the Tricity.

Although it's only a 125cc they claim it will be lighter than other 3-wheelers.

Recent story on Scooter Station and MCN although and still a "concept" rather than a scooter for sale on the Yamaha website.
