I have these http://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/vulcan-glove-black.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Keep me warm on the admittedly short commute, when I've gone farther afield they seem to be warmer for longer than 5 finger gloves, also seem well made.

I'm thinking I might just buy new ones from HG in Germany and pay the ten euros postage.

Helmet update. After 3 days use I could no longer stand the rattling from the right side of the helmet when the visor was up. It almost felt like some one was inside my head with a tiny jackhammer so it went back to Lidl. No arguments, they simply refunded it. Shame really as it seemed decent. I pull on my HJC jet helmet today and it felt a much better produce to be fair. I guess you get what you pay for.

I suppose it's somewhat down to head shape. I've had two HJC's a beautiful carbon fibre jobby and this Jet style. Both fitted very well, and seem to stand the test of time. Mine has had constant use for 18 months and still looks good, nothing is rattling or looking worn which I reckon is decent. It wouldn't stop me looking at other brands though!
