ESB bolton closing

ESB are closing their Bolton shop on 31 Oct, everything moving to the Leigh branch

I haven't been there in years. I took an fzr600 I had bought from Claremont in Ashton for a service, mainly because they were nearer. I was booking it in and they came outside t look at it and make a note of the mileage etc. they saw the number plate was from Claremont and said they would never service a bike bought from a another dealer. I got on it and rode it to tommy robb in Warrington and let them do it. Never went back again.

Bolton Motorcycles on Ivy Road is a nice place, Jonathan the manager there is a bit of a character - but he does get things done

The first i knew of ESB being closed was when i was in BM Bargains in Bolton. As i was paying the woman on the next till said "I thought i recognised that voice" it was the woman with ginger hair that used to work at ESB in the spares Dept, she now works at BM Bargains on the tills. She says thier place in Leigh is still open, apparently the had been in Bolton over 40years i for one shall miss them.
