THAT was really WEIRD!!!!

So, it's a beautiful Fall California Day...78 degrees and a mild Santa Ana condition. I'm running errands on the Tmax, and my final stop/reward is the store for some nice, cold BEER! OOPS, BOTH my favorites are on sale. Oh, well, three six-packs SHOULD fit under the seat.

As I arrive at my bike, and place the beer on the ground to gear-up and load-up, a twenty-something worker from the store comes up to me, to check out my "motorcycle" because he saw me ride in and thought it was AMAZING looking. So, I opened it up, pulled-out my gear, unhooked my helmet from the side, loaded-in THREE six packs of beer and BLEW HIS MIND. He WAS in the market for a motorcycle; now he's looking for a Tmax...

It gets WEIRDER. 15 minutes later I'm pulling around back of the townhome where I live, and pull in the garage. About a minute later the HUGE garbage truck that just emptied the dumpsters stops behind my garage, the late-fifties driver gets out and says "here, take MINE around the block and I'll try yours, okay?". He saw me coming through the lot, thought it was the best-looking bike he had seen in years, and wanted to know what kind of "motorcycle" it was. He used to race years ago, missed being on two wheels, and was looking for something to ride again. Now HE'S looking for a Tmax also.

WTF???? And Yamaha couldn't figure out how to sell them. What IDIOTS...
