Re: 11/8 MATLOCK BATH
Hi Guys,
Many apologies for not hanging around to meet up, it was just that Matlock was teaming with scooterist when I arrived and there was nowhere for me to park the bike which was fully loaded with panniers. Kept riding for a little while and ended up in Ripley. Traffic heading back into Matlock on A6 from south was horrendous. Decided, rather than fight my way back I would take a slow ride home and managed to phone Alan (ZZG) to let him know my plans.
As it happened, took in Ashbourne, Buxton, Stockport, Bakewell and Matlock yesterday, so quite a bit of travelling and sight seeing and joinery wasn't wasted.
Once again folks apologies for a no show but I am sure there will be another time.

Alan, Thanks for the run today. A Big Thank you to Liam for the use of your spanners & slave starting the sh300. Also a big Thank you to Gerard for keeping us safe & your support. When we three got to the main road I was very lucky that an AA Patrol was just passing who we waved down. He confirmed the wiring by the regulator had overheated & burnt . He carried out a temporary repair to the wiring loom which enabled us to ride home.
Glad to hear you all had a good day out

Stepped in at 9pm. Knackered, 3 tanks of fuel and close to 400 miles. Don't know the exact mileage I'll work it out later
A realy big thank you to the organisers for sorting everyone out. Also a realy bug thank you to Liam for guiding me out of Derbyshire. After we split up I got lost. Have to sort a sat nav and power for next time.
