I'd added Ultraseal to a couple of my Burgmans tyres in the past and to my current Silver Wing, it's supposed to help balance the wheels but I can't say I've noticed any effects at all.

I'd rather introduce something into my tyres to prevent and seal punctures than be hit by another vehicle pushing a scooter with a flat, or trying to fix it at the roadside. I carry a Stop n' Go tyre plugger kit under the seat too.

You and everyone else do whatever suits you.
Each to their own...I gave up with the gunges after they failed me on more than one occasion. And if they fail you are completely up shit creek as you can't then do a temporary fix as the gunge drives the plug back out! When I get a puncture I call the AA out and they put in a temporary plug to get you home (these have been completely successful) and then get a proper repair done or replace the tyre at my convenience.

Have you ever looked at a stop n go puncture repair kit? They really are superb and a world apart form sticking bits of rubber thread into your tyre. They'll save you waiting about for the RAC man that's for sure!

How long does Ultraseal/Puncture Seal last in a tyre.

No....... the idea is that they'll put the temporary plug in to get you mobile. No waiting for trailers...unless you've put the gunge in the tyres and it fails to do its job - THEN you need a trailer!! I've never had to wait that long for them to arrive.

The stop n go kits are better than plugs a sthey are a mini mushroom. Once you've got it in there it can be a permanent repair but you should remove the tyre to check for carcass damage.

I hate to sound like an advert but I have been using Ultraseal for years and years and it is quite different from all the other goops on the market. It lasts the life time of the tyre, or inner tube if you have them (so that was two sets of tyres on my old bike because they had inner tubes). You put it in and forget it you may well get a puncture and never know it will just seal permanently. It also helps control tyre temperature so I tend to maintain constant pressures. I realize there are wiser members on here than me that hate the idea but I have never knowingly had a puncture an any bike that I have used it in and I go off road camping etc. Ultraseal used to have a contract with the British post office for all their vehicles and it is indorsed by the BMW owners riders club. I love it but hey thats just my view.
Maximum respect
