Re: Stalling issue BMW C600 Sport
Did I read somewhere that it's a rebadged Kymco? Or did I dream that?

Yup, a dream.SpikeOne wrote:Did I read somewhere that it's a rebadged Kymco? Or did I dream that?
Kymco build the engine to BMW specs, that's all they do.
EDIT: sorry for the echo of the post above, I'm on a slow 'puter today.

Still hasn't been established how much of the BMW is actually manufactured in Germany, my money is on not very much.

It's not as if it matters though, is it? Hondas made in Thailand, Yamahas in France, Peugeots in China, blah blah blah. All that counts is the integrity of the engineering and whether it is up to the expectations provided by the marque (and the price they charge for the name). And I'll grant you that the jury is still out on that.gn2 wrote:Still hasn't been established how much of the BMW is actually manufactured in Germany, my money is on not very much.
Mind you, I keep finding myself drawn to doing regular searches of the Autotrader bike section, for "BMW" and "scooter". And I am currently in the process of selling my late mother's house to realise an inheritance. Hmmm....

StephenC inheritance is a funny word , but means so much to the person or persons involved, make your mother proud of your actions
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Yes, the missus and I were talking about whether or not we should be really sensible and pay off (most of) the mortgage. Instead we're going to bank most of it but treat our daughters to some of the things we have not yet been able to afford - Disneyland for example. And a couple of things for us too, hence why I am thinking of being extravagant on my next scooter, for just the one time. I like to think my mum would like us to live a little, so long as we don't go too mad, anyway. I guess most of what's left after paying off debts will be waiting ready for our daughters' uni fees or property deposit.michaelphillips wrote:StephenC inheritance is a funny word , but means so much to the person or persons involved, make your mother proud of your actions
