Now Teesside is definitely not a place where Maxi scoots are common....whilst there are lots of touring bikes and crotch rockets, sightings of maxis are extremely rare. Imagine my surprise just now when as I went passed a junction on the A66 a Burger 400 was pulling out, and as I slowed to come off at the next junction and original style Aprilia Atlantic came passed me!
I've never seen more than 2 maxis in the same place up here!
btw just been for few days away on in Scotland on the TMax - 60mpg on the way back! Some of it was gentle running along narrow and badly surfaced (& wet) minor roads, but some was pushing on quite briskly
strange coincidence

Re: strange coincidence
Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Hardly see any maxis in my area usually, but then one day while on foot spotted 3 400 Burgmans in my local area, all different models and years and all going in different directions. Even though on foot I had the strong urge to wave and nod!! Had to physically hold my left arm down...looked like a mentally ill person fighting with himself!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Re: strange coincidence
Iam used to being the only Maxi-Scooter rider wherever i go. In fact the people i have met (and continue to bump into at various places) refer to me as "Scooterman" whenever we meet.

Re: strange coincidence
I see quite a few in my 10 mile commute, 2 TMax's (MK3 and a MK4), Silverwing, a few 125's (some of which I also see in winter).

Re: strange coincidence
Couple of days ago I pulled up to the lights in Union Street at Market Street in Aberdeen, there was another PCX at the opposite side in Union Street, one in Market street and another one stopped beside me making a total of four PCXs at one junction, all were different colours too.
