Radio on the X9?

Post by Ginger Phil »

Just bought a headset for the X9 but the radio isn't working, it's just static. Ted said he's had the radio working so where is the aerial? Is there something that could've worked loose? :?: :|

The aerial is a loose wire hanging behind the fairing, the usual solution is to fit a car aerial onto the front fairing.

If want music just use a MP3 player or a phone. I do have two sets of pics headsets. I had the same with radio.

Does the lead that's in the cubby hole fit some mobile phones? I'm too lazy to go out to the garage and try. :D

Righty, just plugged in the headphone jack from the X9 into my mobile phone and laptop which killed the sound on both items but no sound came out of the headset. I checked the instruction book and pressed M button briefly then S for two seconds to get SOURCE come up on the display but is there anything else I have to do? :?:

I had the same on my old X9 for some reason I could only get radio 2. I would suggest fitting an amplified aerial not just a normal one.

I'll have to try Radio 2, i always remember that being the strongest signal, even in a car with no aerial you can always pick up Radio 2. :D
