I find that Probiker paddock boots provide more protection for delicate bones but the polis do not like you using them on cars. Clenched fists are more vunerable in motorcycle gloves.
Our local constabulary declined to prosecute a driver who tried to ram me into some parked cars then decided to assault my crash helmet at the next set of red traffic lights because I had used said boots to 'fend off' his car. There were witnesses to the helmet and visor abuse.
They did go round to his home and had words.

I use my horn, which is the correct and legal approach. I do not agree with causing criminal damage and have no sympathy for anybody doing it. I am sure the people causing damage to other vehicles will be the first to complain if some scroat kicked and damaged theirs.

Good for you, your patience is to be admired (I know that sounds sarcastic but it's not meant to be).Ferrit wrote:I use my horn, which is the correct and legal approach. Personally I think giving a vehicle which is about to crash into you a bash is self defence and not criminal damage.
As for my cycling incident, well one selfish act deserves another......
